West Texas Taekwondo Academy
Courtesy. Integrity. Perseverance. Self-Control. Indomitable Spirit.
These are the five core tenants of Tae Kwon Do and what we strive to teach our students daily. We believe that Tae Kwon Do isn't just self-defense or a combat sport, but a way of life. We strive to build character, improve health, and bolster confidence in our students to prepare them for the real world and whatever challenges they may face.
Research has shown that participating in martial arts along with therapy can increase a person’s ability to heal trauma and other mental health concerns. West Texas Taekwondo Academy has partnered with Life’s Healing Journey, PLLC to offer Women’s Only Trauma-Informed Self-Defense Classes every Monday from 6-7:15pm.
